Meh, score a winner against us in the league Carlos and then maybe you might have been worth the money.

We were always going to struggle tonight against 12 men but it's not over yet and we'll still beat them at OT with a half decent ref.

EDIT: And Owen is coming on to score another late winner? Or just do nothing like he usually does?

Re: Carling Cup Thread

Owen should have started. United don't look as good with 1 striker as when they play with 2. And when is fergie going to realise that rafael and fabio are useless little *****s. Problem is our squad. The last few years i've been saying our squad wasn't strong enough. Without Vidic and Ferdinand our defence is a joke. Brown needs at least one of them to play with in the center and Evans has gone backwards in terms of ability (don't know if it's confidence but he's losing it). The midfield is packed with ageing or average players and Berbatov is just a lazy *****.

What bugs me about United sometimes is when we go to sleep when we score and it's happened again tonight. Then we wait until the last 15 minutes to wake up again.

This summer Fergie needs to offload some crap (Rafael, Fabio, Anderson, Fletcher) and get some talent in.

Great stuff, hopefully City will go on to win the second leg as well :smileyhappy:

Re: Carling Cup Thread

Away goal rule doesn't matter in CC right?

City will park the bus at OT and we'll beat them 2-0 because they won't have Mike Dean to give them goals :smileyhappy:

Good game to watch, Tevez's 2nd celebration towards Fergie was good :smileyvery-happy:

Good. That's an understatement, I thought it was brilliant as was Tevez's performance. Thought De Jong was stunning for City, tackle after tackle.

Well done Man City, hopefully they can grab a draw or a win at Old Trafford. Best of luck.

Good game boys :smileyvery-happy:

Tevez and De Jong had great games, Bellamy was pretty good too, very fortunate to get the penalty, but it's about time Utd got a couple decisions against them.

Saying that, I thought our overall performance was quite poor, Utd could have scored a few goals and that would be it for the second leg, and if we play like that at OT we well get rolled over.

Looking forward to round 2 :smileyvery-happy: !

EDIT - oh and 'FERGIE, SIGN HIM UP'

Re: Carling Cup Thread

About time we had a couple of decisions against us? There's been countless times this season we've been cheated by referees.

Keep up your glory hunting. Tw@t. You have no idea. Go support City. You're like those mindless fools on the official United forum.
