I can't believe Ferdinand didn't foul Bellamy though to keep the score a 3-2. I was screaming at the computer "FACKING TAKE HIM OUT YOU FOOL!" and then with Foster in net it was bound to be a goal. :smileysad: Oh well, good ol' Owen.

Jesus, Man Utd supporters...They don't even trust their players. Foster ain't that bad.

Ignore Diddy. Most Man Utd fans support their players unlike him.

Bah, i'm just realistic. We need to sign a new keeper once VDS retires, or stick O'Shea in net :smileyvery-happy:

Re: Carling Cup Thread

Lol Its good to see pressure and unerve at the big clubs and other derby games. I still remember Villas woes with Enckleman and Carson. Btw wasnt the Man U/ Man City derby a Premiership game? And this is the Carling cup thread is it not? Mind you this thread could dissapear by the time round 4 starts, without regualr posts lol.

4th round draw is at 12:15 today I think, I'm hoping we get Arsenal or 'The Scum' at home, would be very interesting.

Re: Carling Cup Thread

Nice one curtis. I was gonna post the fourth round draws but, I couldnt be bothered to do anything after the Prem results came in Saturday. losing to Wigan now Blackburn, whoes next Sunderland lol. Its Ironic that Villa play Sunderland next, the team that knocked out our closest rivals (Blues) in the last round.

Lets hope they dont do what Port Vale did to Sheffield. Knocking both of their teams out.

Re: Carling Cup Thread

I cant remeber what games have been played or are to be played. The one result i do know is the villa result.

Villa played a rubbish game. Sunderland knocked out birmingham city in the las round and they could of easily knocked out us this round. If it wasnt for a super man keeper we would of been history. It went to penalties Brad guzan had already saved 1 penalty in normal time he then saved three more penalties. thats 4 out of 5 penalties. I hope he doesnt play for the states if england face them in the world cup lol.

Re: Carling Cup Thread

we have two fantastic keepers now its brilliant. Guzan looks upto Friedel as they are from the same country. And Freidel is happy to teach Guzan what he knows. We have a god looking defence. Midfield is decent but could be better. Our Stike force needs looking at though. Seems to be a bit lacking in creativity.
