Promising so far. Sure, we're losing but at least the team seems to have some flair and we're creating chances. That's something which has been completely lost from our side for the past few games. Richards has been superb and I've been surprised by Smith. Lampard scored a great goal but other then that, he's been poor. Made lots of terrible long balls and wasted a perfect chance.

Oh no, the office is stacked with TVs and PSs....but they must lock the TV arials up in a big safe in the basement cos I'm yet to find one!!

decent-ish performance. lampard was alright, smith was pretty good, richards excellent, beckham, owen, cole were all good. carrick was fairly average, though. can't see that doing anything for his england chances. it all goes wrong when the team loses their shape and there's no one to cover the positions so the passes just gradually get longer and longer. shame really, because they started so well.
