Hey footie fans and welcome to the OPC Euro 2012 prediction league (as promised).
So to continue the excitement we all had with throughout the season with the normal prediction league, this one is obviously for the Euro 2012 tournament.
Rules:
1) Must make a post predicting the results of the fixtures that I have posted within the thread.
3) 3 points will be given if the result AND scoreline is correct, and 1 point will be given for each correct result. 0 points for incorrect result (obviously).
4) Only one prediction for each match is permitted.
So for example:
Saturday 11th:
Chelsea v Arsenal
Sheffield United v Sheffield Wednesday
Horatio Nelson Posts:
Chelsea 2 v 1 Arsenal
Sheffield United 0 v 2 Sheffield Wednesday
Arthur Wellesley Posts:
Chelsea 1 v 1 Arsenal
Sheffield United 3 v 4 Sheffield Wednesday
Actual (pretend) results:
Chelsea 0 v 0 Arsenal
Sheffield United 0 v 2 Sheffield Wednesday

I will split the group games up per round of matches. So the first set of matches we can all predict now until kick off on the 8th June 18:00 and then as I close predictions I will open the next round of matches to predict whilst at the same time awaiting for the first lot of matches to be completed.
This will make sure we all stay on top of predicting the matches and have plenty of time to do so.
(Come any situations of penalties) Both those who predicted a draw and a win will get 2 points.
Ok let's start with the first set of fixtures shall we:
I just used a picture as I wanted to include those lil national flags and didn't want to fiddle around with uploading each and every one lol. So you will need to write out the list as you predict them.
Group Stage Timeline:
- First round of predictions will be closed on 8th June 18:00.
- Second round of predictions will open from that day until the next round starts on 12th June.
- Third and final round of the group stages to predict will start on 12th Jun and end on 16th June.
So as you can see it's gonna be quite congested so make sure you keep coming back to this thread to ensure you have posted your predictions!
