However, Walcott also went down rather easy yesterday also to earn the penalty that resulted in Arsenal equalising.

The one where he dived wasn't given. The ref gave it but then called offside. The one after was deserved and he didn't dive.

Yet no yellow card?

Ouch

Yeah, no yellow.

The ref didn't know it was a dive until Walcott joked about with him at the end of the game. Could have gave it then but oh well. :smileyvery-happy:

Re: FA Cup thread

Theo Walcott has apologised for diving to try to win a penalty during Arsenal's third-round FA Cup tie against Leeds, which finished 1-1 at Emirates Stadium.

"I am not the sort of player to do it, but I own up to it and apologise. It is something I don't want to see in my game."

Walcott added: "I have heard some players say 'if there is a slight touch, go down' and it can work both ways.

"It was one of those things. I am not happy with myself for doing that, but I am happy that we got the draw.

"I had a little joke with the referee afterwards saying 'that was my first dive, can you tell?'

"I don't have to own up to it and I can't speak for other players, but I have just expressed how I feel. I hope people respect that."

There was some comment on YouTube that for the last 5 games you've played against Liverpool, the 3 of them which you won were all referee'd by Howard Webb, the 2 you didn't weren't xD

Not sure how true it is but pretty funny if it is true.
