A win's a win, but that was a poor performance from England. Norway had us on the backfoot for the whole second half. So many individual mistakes, especially Jones. How he was picked over Micah Richards I don't know.

Why not just give football it's own sub-forum area? We have this Premier League thread, the Football league thread, El Clasico, Internationals... they are all pretty big topics in their own right on this site

This section isn't that active really. I agree with having a general football thread.

As for alternative to penalties. Gawge's idea is pretty weak . I'd say the most realistic one would be having golden goal. After the two halves of ET have golden goal.

I bought the official 12/13 Championship Gillette Razor today.

Essentially, the youngest will now have to play in 5v5 games on much smaller pitches and smaller goals.
Slightly older kids will play in 9v9 with slightly bigger pitches.

This move is solely overdue, Swansea has yet to see the benefits but we have been using this model since Martinez took over. Hopefully that puts us 5 years ahead of alot of other teams.
