Re: Barclays Premier League Thread

It's suprising how few people have mentioned that we beat United without Gerrard, which according to them makes us a one man team.

Uniteds midefield were completely bossed by Masch and Lucas, who both had great games. And even better, Aquilani, who played great on his reserves debut, is about to come back.

Also wasn't helped by that cheating ***** Carragher, Owen through on goal and he takes him out, not a red card!? What? The referee was crap as well, Vidic and Berbatov got their cards for nothing tackles, but Lucas and Mascherano were fouling left right and centre and it took ages for a booking.

The decisions usually go United's way at Old Trafford, today they went out way. It's the way it goes. I have to admit you were unlucky not to get a penalty but there was no doubt Vidic deserved to get send off. Was silly from Masch as well but the three points is what is most important.

Vidic barely touched Kuyt. Lucas should of been off. Carragher also. Ref was a joke. Carragher, just a dirty bas-tard. Benitez, stating passion helped you win. More like the referee. He must live five minutes from Anfield.

Re: Barclays Premier League Thread

Outplayed by the dippers yet again, not good but they deserved it more so I have no complaints. It doesn't mean too much for the title though.

We won because we were the better team. End of. How many times have the decision's gone your way in past games. The amount of bad losers on this forum is ridiculous.

Re: Barclays Premier League Thread

The Carragher one, as I say, was on the borderline between red and yellow.

You look at where the ball was going, and it was going away from goal, without moving inside it would have been a tough angle. Glen Johnson would probably have been able to get to Owen if he brought the ball inside for a decent shot on goal. I think it was a very tough decision and it could have gone either way, I don't think it was a bad decision.

Vidic only got a yellow card (2nd yellow) for his sending off and Kuyt had a much clearer chance running at goal, just further out.
