Re: Barclays Premier League Thread

If they are getting half the attendance it might be worth their while offering half priced season tickets, those who already own might feel aggreived but the club really could do with the money. Those who bought their season tickets before the season started might have been lucky to buy "early bird" tickets anyway?

Atleast that is something the Swans do, if you buy within the first couple of weeks of them going on sale you get a massive discount. Would it be so different to that sort of model to offer them cheaper right now?

Who wants to go to watch Dull FC though? :smileywink:

Probably more likely to be an "Airlie Bird" ticket as well, as that is what they call themselves, but we all know it is Gateshull Sharks :smileytongue:

Re: Barclays Premier League Thread

hmmm poor jack wilshere. out until christmas now. what is it with arsenal and their players being out for, first, a couple of weeks followed by 2 months, followed by half a season? was talking to a mate who is a die-hard arsenal fan and he reckons its the type of grass that they have at the emirates and their training ground. it's meant to be very soft (or something) and other non-arsenal players have complained about it.

I know every team gets injuries, but it's seriously a joke at Arsenal and team or medical staff need to conduct an assessment because it's all too frequent and with the bulk of the first team.  However the ground Arsenal train at is the same one that England use so I'm not sure if it's that. Unless of course they were the other ones who have complained about it then he might be on to something. I'm wondering if it's down to their regime or schedules.

Either way something needs to be done. All that needs to happen now is Robin Van Persie needs to get his annual injury, and they would've gone right back to needing more players (and in my opinion they already did anyway).

It never rains but it pours at the moment. :smileysad:
