To be, or not to be? is the question being debated at the BBC. The iconic BBC Soap drama Eastenders just manages to pull in just over 6 million viewers with ratings declining from January 2012 onwards; which in itself is a stark contrast to the over 30million viewers it recieved when it first started. This may be down to the actors becoming increasingly younger and replacing the veterans of the soap or the fact none of the new actors can speak a word of English (even though they do speak English); my mother said that there were too much London slang involved which were mainly down to either character of Patrick Truman and Fatboy played by Rudolph Walker & Ricky Norwood respectively. I also think it could be down to the misery on Albert square petrued by the writers which makes it so depressing to watch i.e. not one cheerful storyline at the moment. 

So what do you think, should Eastenders be axed by the BBC?

Eastenders isn't what it used to be at all. I say bin it.
