I'm really not looking forward to this unfortunately. It seems to be heading all dreamy/teeny in a Twilight kind of way. This could be the worst thing to happen to Dr Who since Sylvester McCoy and possibly the end of the journey for me.

I'm hoping it returns to the new season 1/2 style, instead of continuing with what we have seen over the past couple of series or heading in a new direction like "Twilight-ish".

Really not sure about Matt Smith, but I felt same about David Tennant too and he really took the role to new heights. Fingers crossed for a cracking new Doctor and series.

On the one hand...i do see myself not watching this again, but...I did think the same when Christoper Eccleston finished. I remember thinking "Well this David guy can't be as good as Christopher" I was very wrong, but with that in mind i doubt Matt will be half as good as David. Also i used to watch Kevin Bishop and i think she is smokin' i like red heads too
