Re: Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2

I should either be going on Friday or during the weekend. Never regarded myself as a Harry Potter fan but I really want to go and see it so I guess I should.

Finished watching Goblet of Fire yesterday so I'll be onto Order of the Phoenix tonight. I was at Odeon last week and saw a poster to watch a Harry Potter film a night to recap the series, thought you'd have to be a die hard fan to do that but it's basically what I am doing now . I think this may be one Harry Potter film I haven't watched yet (either this or the next one) so it should help make the story more clear.

It's amazing how much more you take in when you properly watch the films. I understood most of the first two but there were small areas in both films that I hadn't understood the first couple times watching. And I didn't remember a single bit of Prisoner of Azkaban apart from the scene with the beheading of the bird and the death eater at the beginning on the train, even though I have definitely seen it before. Watching them again has answered so many questions I have like who is Sirius Black? What are the death eaters? How did Voldemort return? etc.

Re: Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2

I have literally just finished watching Deathly Hallows Part 1 too. Finally understand the Hawcrux's, Elder Wand etc. Never thought I'd do it but I managed to watch all 7 films in 8 days (was busy Friday night) and now completely understand the movie.

One of my local Odeons was doing a 00:01 launch tonight but there were no good seats so I decided not to bother with it. Shall hopefully be going tonight though assuming the people I'm planning on going with confirm they're free. Imax 3D and I hear you get some nice new Harry Potter styled 3D glasses.

Re: Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2

I just got back from seeing it and have to say, it was bloody brilliant. Rewatching the whole series allowed me to understand everything that happened. I don't think I've ever seen a film that I would call phenomenal but this would deserve to be called that. I would advise anyone to go see the film, and that's coming from someone who never regarded themselves as a fan of the series.

It's freaking incredible. I hate the word but it is truly epic.

I haven't seen it yet but heard there is a good view of Emma Watson's boobs near the beginning of the film.
