The trailer, a perfect way of showing off a coming attraction, and sometimes showing a bit too much. 

What's your opinion on Movie Trailers? 

Do you look out for them online? Do you get filled with excitement when you hear about a new one for a movie you're looking forward to?

Personally I enjoy watching trailers, even though they can give a bit too much away about the story in a movie. And there is something special about seeing them in the cinema, like I recently did with a Prometheus trailer before The Avengers.

You do find that most trailers these days show more than they should. I have to admit that The Avengers did a great job as they didn't even scratch the surface with theirs.
I remember seeing the trailer for the Angelina Jolie film the bone collector and they totally gave the killers identity away.
I still haven't seen the film myself but from what saw in The Cabin in the woods trailer they showed alot of what I thought to be "spoilers"

I dont bother with them. At most Ill check the imdb score, i often wont even read what the film is about.

I once watched a vampire movie and it wasnt until halfway through I realised it was a vampire movie, despite it being written on the box and in the trailer, I enjoyed it a lot tho ^_^

Sounds like from dusk till dawn I did the same with that film. Thought that I went into a heist/kidnapping film and got an awesome gorefest.
I tend to watch trailers for the films that I really want to see like the avengers etc
