Re: Tekken 2 Movie please!!!

OP, I hate you. After reading your post I actually believed there was a small chance they'd make a halfway decent movie out of it (which is completely unnecessary in the first place, by the way).

Then I sat there thinking: That's not Eddy. That's not Raven. That's not Yoshimitsu.

That's not Tekken.

At all.

I want the 2'04" back.

Re: Tekken 2 Movie please!!!

I went into watchin this film with no expectations, but i was pleasantly suprised. it wasnt a bad film imo, tho the story is different from the games. Its been left open for a sequel, at the end Christie saying "Tekken has just begun" and after the credits it goes back to Heihachi's hostage scene where he "dies". He manages to regain control of the Jacks, so he is alive, possibly for Tekken2? That said, i dont think a 2nd will b made, as this went straight to dvd. i wud love to get Jins flame trousers tho!

Re: Tekken 2 Movie please!!!

To be honest it doesn't follow the games exact storyline, the timelines of the characters are off, the basic plot is off, but it harnessed what I loved about Tekken as a child, Kicking everyones arse with Jin in Tekken 3. Jin is an ***** by tekken 6 anyway so I think they did take some of the plots potential and take it in another direction. Nobody wants a film where the main character everyone wants to love conquers half the world, leaves it in ruin only to summon Azazel for a fight? I mean common. (Some of my context of tekken 6 may be off there but still, the storyline bugged me when there started being giant great grandfathers.)

As a film goes, its a strong 8/10 for me,  but as for following the storyline.. its quite a kick in the nuts.

Oh, some of the diolog of the extra's ***** me off too.

Re: Tekken 2 Movie please!!!

he was also in the hangover. they should make a new tekken movie but do it better, now the movie werent great but it had potential from the jin actor (foo) who i believed did a good job of jin, besides looking a little young but nevermind. i hope another movie will be made but with a better storyline as the fights werent bad

Re: Tekken 2 Movie please!!!

I honestly didn't mind the Tekken movie, certainly a lot better than Dead or Alive was.

Re: Tekken 2 Movie please!!!

that first tekken movie was horrible everything about just killed tekken

blood vengence was kinda boring the last fight scene was good though three mashimas fighting it out was amazing,i hope they make another live action but stick to the story this time and actually find actors that match up to their charecter lol jin looked like a middle schooler with a chicken chest also wish they would hurry up with tekken vs street fighter i hate street fighter graphics
