Agreed. You can see his face in the CG Hulk in this movie too (from what I've seen) animators these days are amazing. I'll wait till I can see the film though before I make a final decision on if he's a good Bruce Banner. I just thought he was a bit meh in the trailers is all.

Best cameo appearance of Stan Lee I've ever seen is an episode of The Big bang theory. He's brilliant in the way he expresses his total disdain for marvel fan boys!

Re: The Avengers

I didn't think he looked old. I thought maybe he just looked tired/ stressed haha. I still think so far he's the best Banner. Edward Norton was great, but I think Mark has made the character more likeable.

Hulk looks better on the big screen. That movie was pretty flawless for me. CGI was top notch. Hulk was amazing!

Re: The Avengers

Finally got to see it last night. Very enjoyable movie. My only two critisisms was I had to watch it in 3d (which makes films look cheap and gimmicky imo) and the fact they underplayed Thor's character/powers. Scarlett Johansen's arse stole the show for me and my Mrs had to close my mouth during one scene. Mark Ruffalo's portrayal of the not so jolly green giant was okay but I still think Ed Norton was a better Bruce Banner as hes got more presence and you just feel there is something unhinged about him waiting to come out (Ideal for the hulk). Ruffalo lacks that. I'd give it 8 out of 10.

Re: The Avengers

So now that "phase 1" of The Avengers is complete and they have started moving forward with the next phase.
What do people want to see in "phase 2".
For me I would like to see the following:-

Captain America 2
I want to see more action from the war, show what happened to the Howling Commandos as in the comics they were recipients of the Infinity Formula along with Fury, with Dum Dum becoming Fury's 2nd in command and Falsworth became the Union Jack. Also hint at the possible appearance of the Winter Soilder for the 3rd.
Have Madame Hydra or maybe AIM get the bad guy post.

Thor 2
Let's have a lot of Nine Realms action, bring on Enchantress (Charlize Theron) and The Exicutioner.
Also a lot less Midgard please.
Have Loki stealing the Infinte Guantlet for Thanos to make up for his falure linking this to the Avengers sequel

Ironman 3
Making it better than the 2nd film would be a great start.
Can we get The Manderin involved please. They have really announced alot of cast including Ben Kingsley, Guy Pearce and that they were basing it on the Extremis story arc.
No more villains in powered armoured like the last 2 please. You could even have Thanos appear seeing as he made his debut in the Ironman comics.
would love to see Banner make a cheeky cameo too as that team up is just waiting to happen.

The Incredible Hulk sequel
Bring in The Leader as he was set up in the last film and also have Samson too.
Now we know Bruce's secret 😄 we won't have the same story repeated like previous incarnations just show the destruction and carnage.

That's my thoughts to start, what are yours?

The BD is due in UK on monday do you think Joss Whedon will allow an extended edition or only the Cinema version of it.

He said he cut the scenes becuase it slowed the film down.

But now Its on BD should we not be given the choice to watch the uncut version. if the visual quality of the scenes are ok or should it only be the short cinema version.. with the cut scenes only as a bonus section...

Re: The Avengers

It's gonna be the original cut that was shown at the cinema, they might release a extended version later down the way which should have the commentary track thats missing off of this one.
