A question for englishgolfer.

[ Edited ]

Seeing as englishgolfer has his 19th hole going on I thought we should get to quiz him here too or even ask anyone of us regulars a few personal questions for a bit of fun.

So my first question goes to eg, how did you get from Canada to the UK and then to Sweden?

Please don't  say by plane, I would like a little story.

My second question is for Danny, what was your hairdresser thinking?

OK, you all get the drift............

actually it was by boat - at least the 1st time i went from england to sweden. but backtracking, mum and dad are both english but met each other whilst working in canada. hey presto! i was born there (montreal), lived there the first 6 years of my life and then dad got an offer for a job in england so we moved there.

concerning sweden, i travelled the world and ended up here. funny i have been in over 40 countries and when i came to the west of coast of sweden i thought "i could live here for the rest of my life". so i found me a wife and settled down - so to speak. though if swedes ask why i came to sweden i usually say something along the lines off "well the vikings came to england 1500 years ago to take our finest roses so i came to sweden to take one back, just that i stayed".

Re: A question for englishgolfer.

To be honest I've rarely left this country of mine.

I should really save up for a holiday and stop spending on gadgets and booze.

40 countries is a lot for most people though.  Perhaps you could write us a travel guide and where to go and not to go and what to do and not to do based on your experiences.

Re: A question for englishgolfer.

Yep, similar to you lordross.
Seen loads of england wales etc (and there is some real beauty here!!) but I didnt go abroad till I was 18, seen a few countries since. All the plans I had of traveling went out the window when I got a mortgage too early in life.

English's guide to where to visit first sounds like a great idea! At least it would give us a 'window' into what we've been missing out on.

I cut it myself

Let's talk about that haircut you had. Did you go in for a haircut or to get your bikini line waxed?

Re: A question for englishgolfer.

off the top of my head the best places i visited was in africa. what a place! zimbabwe is brilliant and south africa will always have a special place in my heart. nigeria was an eye opener and kenya and egypt are places one has to put on your bucket list. hmmm might just have to dig out some photos and scan them in of my travels....

@WinnieP yeah i'm happy. have a great wife, great family and tbh england isn't that far away. infact we'll be there in just over a week's time. woot!
