Re: Android discussion thread.

Thinking about getting my gf to upgrade to one, the One S is a better sized phone but the PenTile qHD screen is a bit of a turn off.

Hopefully she'll manage to resist upgrading for another month or so yet to see what the GS3 is like, and possibly the iPhone 5 if it's on track for a June launch.

Re: Android discussion thread.

I also wish they managed to squeeze the One X into a 4.3-inch phone. It's the same size as my current one and really feel that it's the perfect size. But qHD instead of 720p makes the One X my preferable option.

From what I've seen of the leaked GS3 specs, it's not as revolutionary as was once thought. But I'll wait for the official specs before completely declining it.

Re: Android discussion thread.

I wouldn't Samsung S3 will be out soon and also you can get HTC one x. But in saying that is it 12 months contract you only want, if so then yes go for it.

It's effectively a 6 month contract I can easily pay off the remaing 6 months around the new year.

Re: Android discussion thread.

Anyone here got a Samsung Galaxy S?

Recently in the last few days I am facing a number of issues, it wont turn off it just repeatedly turns itself back on. Sometimes doesn't turn on and just shows batter symbol although fully charged. Also when plugged in and is on screen flickers loads like its reacting with something.

Anyone had these issues before? I seem to think it may be water damage by the way it flickers and that could only be from being in my pocket during rain.

Thanks,

Re: Android discussion thread.

Lots of leaks streaming out of for the Galaxy S3.

Looking at the 'supposed' specs, the 12 mp camera seems quite nice providing the quality is in line with it. No doubt the quad core exynos will be speedy enough, I found the one in the S2 ample for everything really. Though I think early adopters will be stung hard by the contract if it is anything like the S2 launch. Probably best to hang on a bit and see what happens.

Re: Android discussion thread.

So what do people think of the S3?
Personally, i dont like how it looks, and i dont think its a huge step up from the S2.
