From reading on xda there is a lot of issues with the One X at the minute and I think battery was one of them.

Re: Android discussion thread.

No problems with battery on my one x. I using 1.26 software waiting on o2 to release 1.28 to fix some issues with games and sense restart bug. Apart from that my phone dont show any of the real issues people having.

Make sure you have no games running in the background.

Yeh but it's webOS which is effectively shuttered.

I've got CM9 on mine and for an alpha it's pretty good.

Re: Android discussion thread.

My battery had been fine on the One X until today. I went to bed and it was on 60%, and I woke up and it had died in the night. Charged it for 5 hours but it only got to 80% in that time. Went out all day and was using it for texts, facebook, twitter and email and it's still on 80%.

The power usage screen also showed that Android OS was using 67% of power, whereas previously it has never gone above 15%.

Something definitely not right.

Re: Android discussion thread.

How are you charging it? dont charge with USB plugged into a PC use the mains. Its been proven that phones keep the charge long if you dont charge with usb and a pc or laptop. Also leaving phone over night without charge is your own fault :smileywink: night time=charge time.

Nope, I always use the mains charger. Lol I usually charge it in the mornings before I leave the house so that it's on 100% when I leave. But even so, it drained 60% through the night when it was idle so that's obviously not right.

And the Android OS using 67% of power suggests it's an OS problem. It's gone back to how it was now though. Android OS is currently using 8% and the screen is using 40%. Weird.

[ Edited ]

I was having the exact same problem, updated it and it works perfectly again :smileyhappy:

I loves it I does. Just could do with a better case for it.
