Re: Anyone own a radio/police scanner?

I have a scanner, tis called my guitar amp. Have no idea why exactly but if it's on and a police car, bus or fire engine goes by I hear their radio on it all the way up the road. :smileyindifferent:

Re: Anyone own a radio/police scanner?

i used to use a scanner many moons ago.. listenning to the police (unless they changed the law) it was ok to listen, as long as you didnt react on anything that was heard.. now days though i would assume the channels are encrypted..

ive not tried it out in a good couple of years, but when i put it away, mobile phones were well into the digital age, and you could still pick up their signals
