I had a takeaway pizza from my local Lal Akash curry house for the first time tonight and it was fiery hot because there were loads of jalapenos, not Madras sauce poured on top!

Are you the reason for ridiculously varied takeaway menus?

Ooo, a menu for an Indian, wait... why are they doing "Fish and Chips", and who is buying the "Half Roast Chicken" or "Lasagne"?

I know what you mean, having curiously noted the omelette option on the menu. It seems that they wish to cater for the Philistines who don't like or won't try foreign food.

There is always an omelette option. Where does this demand come from?

If that was the case the customer is a tiny bit more patriotic than the average person, because they are now watching an american movie on a japanese TV while sitting on a swedish supplied italian sofa eating an english meal that was picked up in an german car from an indian restuarant using chinese grown ingredients that was cooked by a bangalorean chef.

You normally can't fit the word 'english' in there! :smileytongue:

[ Edited ]

I quite like chicago town pizzas. There is a good place in town that does kebabs, chips and pizza. They have a pizza with kebab meat on :smileyindifferent: Means when drunk can order a pizza for me and kebab for him though :smileyvery-happy:

In Ibiza there were places everywhere that were pizza hut AND kfc in the same place was fantastic! kfc chips, bit of chicken and slice of pizza

Re: Asda Pizza's

Admitting that you like Donner Pizza's is something that cannot be done in public.

Spoiler
They are awesome though. :smileyvery-happy:

You already have my only theory on that!

I don't know why they don't just offer Pot Noodles and pickled eggs for those who are determined to exhibit their culinary caution to others in a restaurant.

Re: Asda Pizza's

Pizza Hut Stuffed Crust Meat Feast with Extra Everything is always a winner, Papa Johns is also very good though very different.

Dominos has always seemed a bit generic and crappy to me, though still better than all the shop-bought oven pizzas.

My guilty pleasure is the chicago town microwave pizzas, they're like rubber and quite frankly crap, but I love 'em. :smileyvery-happy:

A fair point, although I'm not entirely convinced that a sense of patriotism is the main driving force here :smileywink:
