Not all new findings down there are cancerous, most are infections of sorts, however the best thing to do, no matter how embarressing it may be, is to go to the doctors asap and not to pass it off as nothing if you're concerned.

I
like brown sauce with bacon and tomato sauce with sausage, but both if an egg is included too.
And sure, she'd probably really appreciate it if you did.

What picture? :smileysurprised:

Azedx, where are we going in America first?

Washington as that's where my missus is, then wherever you like from there :smileyhappy:

Wow red with sausage???

Egg sortt of deflunks the whole argument, thats Just adding too many options......

Yeh i did most of the washing up baking trays etc are done its just the damn floaty / flimsy tuperware left now. :Argh: Hate that stuff!

Gutted for ya that your misses is in washington an not here! (sure theres plenty of peeps in the GD that would keep company), spoonings not cheating, right right...?

Cant remember if youve said in previous posts but, what were you doing workwise/education before? Are you really going to jack it all in when you get the all clear, to go to the states? (with xLegioNx and some more of us in tow)

I really hope you do! Youll have to use some bits from here in the book your going to write on your travels.

Do your friends and familly know you started a thread like this (which is an amazing thing to do by the way:Thumbs:) And if so, do you think any of them have being tempted to get a psn sign in to ask you some of the things they are too frightend to ask you, with out the anonymity this thead has?

Sorry for the late reply. (read below for reason)

Spoonings definitely not cheating.

My work/education is musician, figuring whether to go professional, or into tuition/teaching.
Not necessarily going to jack it all in, me and the gf are going to come to some kind of arrangement when im better so things aren't finalised yet, However a USA PSGD road trip sounds like fun.

They do know i set up this thread but im very open with them about my situation. Some friends have completely stopped talking to me, others have started talking to me more. I guess the news has affected them in different ways but I try to let them know they can talk to me about it if they want to,

Anyways onto the reason why ive been away. After I had my 2nd followup chemo jab for my first cycle of chemotherapy, it completely took out my white blood cells and I became neutropenic. I developed a chest infection later that night, went to A and E and they put me into isolation for 2 days while injecting me with antibiotics to fight the infections i had and to get my white blood cells back to a safe level. Then I got moved back up to the cancer ward 3 days ago, so ive been here 5 days total now.

Good news is that my white blood cells are back to a safe level, i've not felt ill as the antibiotics helped as soon as i was given them in A and E but as you can imagine it's exhausted me mentally. (mainly due to the fact I could get barely any internet in isolation)

So yeah, i'm fine now, I feel good and I have my next follow up jab in a few days, let's hope it doesnt do it again :smileytongue:

Feel free to ask anymore questions and hope all you guys are well. :smileyhappy:

Re: Ask a cancer patient anything

It's good to read you're doing well Azed. Unfortunately infections are common when undergoing Chemo and I hope they've got you on some good anti-sickness medication too. That stuff is pretty amazing.

Would you like me to pack your bags for you? I promise I won't put anything in your luggage that will put you away for a long time.
