Re: Azerbaijan

It would seem some do Sam, but for the life of me I don't know why.

Neil Hannon as the UK's Eurovision entry would be hilarious and perfect in equal quantities.

Re: Azerbaijan

The UK (BBC) doesn't take it seriously so I don't think we should be paying for it.

If we must enter the eurovision maybe we ought to go heavy rock/metal, after all Lordi won it about 3 years ago.

I suggest entering Iron Maiden as the UK entry for 2013, after all they've toured pretty much every country and having over 200,000 fans in each country must say something about how globally popular they are.

Thats the reason Iron Maiden wouldn't do Eurovision, they are already succesful so they don't need to enter.

I agree we should do that but sadly the BBC is in charge of that and BBC being BBC always goes for the safe option why we got Engelbert Humperdinck singing a boring song doing a boring performance.

Katrina and the waves were famous but won it for England, Lordi already had 3 albums in Finland but they won, and the hump has been singing for years and had hits ("Please Release me") being the most well known and recorded under his original name of Jerry Dawsey, it's not about getting famous,

although some like ABBA start unknown and get famous off it, it's about the best song which includes the way it is sung, unfortunately the song we had was crap and didn't show what the hump can do vocally,

by the way i'm not a defending fan, I like Heavy Rock/Metal, it's just my opinion the way I see it

Re: Azerbaijan

Out of the acts I liked Cyprus the best and denmark. Swedish song was ok but not my fave. Also liked the German entry.

Re: Azerbaijan

I KNEW Sweden would win, since everyone was talking about how they wanted Sweden to win. I was totally gonna put a bet on and didn't really get the chance to :smileysad:

So if you were in charge of the German arrangements next year would you enter Lena?
