Allow nature to take its course, we are animals after all, and for some of us, it's instinct to kill stuff, and he's doing it in the only legal way he can. It's just a lion, it probably had the intention to eat his face.

Out of curiosity would it be okay if he went hunting but tranquillized the animals instead then let it go after or possibly ate it.?

even animals know to go in the corner.

 

i dont believe someone could be truely evil enough to go shooting animals just for fun, its crazy and no one is that mean. so im going to give him the benefit of the doubt and say he just found that lion, already dead. with bullet holes already in it.
