Best place to trade in?

I want to trade in some games and I was wondering is hmv still really good for trade ins? If so do you have to bring proof for them to beat a trade in, like from cex? If there is better than hmv then where should I go?

HMV tend to have quite generous trade in and cash values plus you can download their app from either iTunes or the Android Market, scan the bar code on your game using your mobile phone's camera and get an instant valuation.

You then take your mobile to the nearest Gamestation who will price match HMV's offer and add an extra £1.

Re: Best place to trade in?

HMV does seem like the best one IMO. They already seem to have their trade in prices priced at £1 higher than anywhere else I've seen. :3

They also do indeed pricematch, so if you can find somewhere cheaper, I would get them told at the counter. :smileytongue:

I don't know if you have an iPhone or not but there's an HMV App that tells you the trade-in price for any game you search for, It's called HMV Re/play. So look that up in the App store if you have an iOS device. :smileyhappy:

Also, CEX show you the prices you will get for your games on the website, click here.

I echo the HMV shouts. Very competitive and if you get the "Re-Play" app you can get a price before you go to the store.
