Re: Casey Anthony Case.

I think that's more curiousity though, wanting to know whats happened as opposed to getting a thrill from watching it happen.

I think you're making a pretty fine distinction there - if indeed there is a distinction to be made.

This does emphasise a particularly unpleasant strand of human behaviour, but it's far from being uniquely American. You only have to look at the sales of celebrity gossip magazines here to see that.

Well case concluded and she's been declared not guilty.

Lots of angry messages on twitter saying justice hasn't been done, etc...

Re: Casey Anthony Case.

If the UK allowed murder court cases to be streamed live, then rest assured that the british public would lap it up every bit as much as the americans do.
Or any other country for that matter. Its human nature...

Re: Casey Anthony Case.

I like the way Americans are, reminds me how classy and sophisticated I am.

Seeing them pillage the crash site of that jackass guy for souvenirs.. but also, that UK jerry springer show where they roll out the chavs to have parental dna tests for my amusement I like that too..

Quite amusing.

Sadly, you're right. But then court cases should never be streamed live.

I can't say I wouldn't be interested in a case like this if it happened in the UK but queuing up to see it in court and getting all excited over it, is not something I would do, or expect anyone with any decency to do.

Ahahaha, that's pretty good. Although the best one I've seen so far is:

Im confused as to why this is reciving so much media attention?

As an American, I'm wondering that myself.

This has been probably one of the most televised cases I've seen in years.
