Hey Guys

Im coming to the UK in August

Im after getting a cell phone so I can call home, but one I can also to use in the UK

Is it best to buy one in America & then have the international thing put on, or is it better to get a sim card from the UK & use that.

I want to call home probably about once or twice a month & using it in the UK just to call my honey

So ideas & suggestions please on what is best

If you get one in America check its gsm, GSM is used everywhere in the world up to 90% of the world, but in America you use CDMA.

You will need to just double check its dualband.

What about using Skype to call back to America?

Then there isn't a massive charge for international calls
