Yup. I especially like it when people throw wrappers and popcorn across the room because it's dark and the victim will be clueless.

We could go together, I'll even let you play with my hair and pretend I'm a girl.

[ Edited ]

Last time I went to the cinema was with a girl, picked marley and me random without knowing what it was about and went in.

Turned to look at her at the end and she was a total mess makeup all over her face, tears running down her face, I was so embarassed for her that I hid my face with my hand and looked away.

edit I have no idea if it was 4k or not I dont go to a cinema for the quality.

I did once do that to a group of girls who wouldn't shut up throughout the film. They though it was my friend and threw their popcorn all over him :smileylol:

Gits left when there was like 10 minutes left of the movie though. Typical, annoy everyone in the cinema and then leave soon before it finishes.

A paper ball hit me in the head in the cinema before, it was pretty embarassing cause I was there with some very aggressive people who were very protective of me and who were built like houses, I had just realised something hit me when one of them said "someone threw something at him".

the guy beside me picked up the paper ball and they all stood up and turned around and stood on their chairs to look over everyone behind us.

One of them said "we are gonna find out who threw this, own up" no one did, so they asked the person right behind us "did this come from behind you?" and they said yeah while not knowing how to react.. then they said "we will find out who threw it, own up" no one did, so they asked someone down the back "did this come from infont of you? did you throw it" they said "infront".

then my friend said "own up nothing bad will happen, we will find out who it was, and if you dont own up we will beat you when when find you"..

amazingly some guy put his hand up :smileylol:

he said "it was me sorry, im friends with the people behind you I was throwing it at them, Im really sorry".. my friend said "is that true? yeah? well just sit there and Ill ask them if they know you, you better hope they do"

people around were starting to laugh now, cause I guess they felt like they were out of trouble and it was all on the guy who threw it.

so they asked the people behind me "do you know that guy back there, be honest now" they laughed, I dont think they did but they said Yeah to keep the peace, then my friend said "youre lucky, dont throw anything at them or my friend again", then told the guy beside me to "give him back his bit of paper" and the guy beside me threw it as hard as he could at him, but missed and everyone in the cinema laughed.

then my friend said "sorry about that everyone, enjoy the film" and they all turned around and sat back down like nothing had happened sharing candy with each other.

I couldnt take them anywhere tbh.

Went to an IMAX for the first time to see Dark Knight Rises. It was ameeeezzzing. But as Fen said earlier don't really go to the cinema for the screen quality.

Re: Cinemas still skimping on resolution...among other things.

Sent an email asking why it wasn't in 4K when they said it was, this was all I got:

"Dear Mr Michael,

Thank you for your patience whilst I have been looking into this further.

Please be advised that the performance you attended was fully equipped with a 4K digital projector, however the film print that was issued to the Vue Oxford branch was 2K and I apologise that we did not have this information to give you prior to you attending.

I apologise for any disappointment this caused and I would like to assure you that your comments have been raised with the management team to ensure that we have the most up to date information for our customers in the future.

Kind regards."
