From time to time we all have probably thought 'I could make a better game'... Well here's your chance to share your ideas...
Tired of the same ole run, jump, kill, win scenario?
What would be your ultimate game idea that would make you play for more hours than you've ever played before?
Who would be your characters?
What would your character(s) be able/have to do?
Where would your game be set?
What's the aim of the game?
Post your ideas here and see if anyone is thinking the same?
Your idea can be as BIG or as small as you see fit...it may just be a character, game name or just an idea you've had...Go On...it never hurts to share...
Please bare in mind the T's & C's when posting or else...

Got to be careful when remaking games, it HAS to be just as good if not better than the original which I think makes developers watch their step real carefully. Especially like square with FF7. The original was epic, the remake has to live up to the name.

I don't think anyone has used move to it's full potential yet. I've actually said it before but since it's relevant I'll elaborate on it further. A noir influenced detective move only game. I picture your in a crime scene and your only light source is a flashlight which you control and "combing" the crime scene for evidence at the same time. With 2 move even for full immersion. Instead of you being spoonfed most casework then given primarily action for a game, your actually being a proper detective, it's upto you to create the killer's fantasy and get into the mind to solve the case yourself.... The move is being utilized in a proper 3d space which I think is where the real potential is at like in Tumble.
I would definitely be in to playing that game! Awesome idea Smokey! Go the Noir influence!

Kind of redundant now seeing as one is being made, but i have been wondering for a while why nobody has made a Zombie survival MMO.
The difference my game idea had (from the one currently in development) was that the persistant world would be generated using google maps of the actual world we live in, including houses, streets, etc.
The Death of your character would be permanent, meaning you would have to start all over if you werent careful.
There would be no set classes for characters, rather letting the player choose which skill sets they would like to work on ie: a player may choose to work on increasing their healing skills in order to better heal themselves or even offer their services to other players (for a fee). They could even set up their own "Business" in a safezone if they have enough resources. Other skill sets would also be "saleable" such as engineering or tracking/hunting, etc, offering players a way to make a profit by specialising in a certain field.
You could go into houses/buildings and clear them out to use as safehouses, upgrading the defenses with parts and items that you scavenge or buy from the apocalyptic world outside so you, and other survivors can use it as a safe haven from the hordes of zombies roaming the world.
You could also form alliances with other survivors (aka Clans) and pool your resources to make better fortifications and weapons, or even turn whole towns into safe havens depending on how many survivors you can get to band together (and co-operate). The downside being that more people moving around in a group or even being in the same place would attract more attention from the undead, making it more challenging to survive.
You would also have to be careful who you ally with because the other survivors can kill you too, steal your stuff or intentionally attract zombies to your safehouse or position in order to destroy your chances of survival, so finding people you can trust would be even more important, increasing the need for strategy and communication.
Thats about all ive got so far, and its 2am while im writing this so im going to bed If i (or you) think of anything else to add ill edit it in
