I'm from the school of thought that there are enough healthier fats in even low fat foodstuffs. Cashew nuts have almost twice as many carbs as protein, and their unsaturated fat content is still high enough to be treated with moderation. Personally, I wouldn't recommend stacking up on them at all. I'd treat them as a luxury every now and then. :smileyhappy:

Ahh, stacking is a poor word to use I guess. I really ought to have said keep a pack handy somewhere and have a fistful occasionally when hungry :smileyhappy:

Re: Diet

Food is fuel.

You fill up with about 250 cals, any more and you just store it, what else  you supposed to do with it? That 250cal will drive you for about 2 and a half to 3 hours, so youre gonna have to get more fuel at that point cause running on empty isnt an option.

Different types of fuel get used up quicker or slower than others, There is no point taking 250cals of fast burning fuel, cause then youre gonna be running on empty, so unless you need energy right now dont take in energy right now.

Eat low gi stuff, mix it up, try eat everything, try live life, eat your fruit, your veg.. If youre feeling hungry even though you took in 250cals of good energy, its not hunger, its craving, ignore it with the confidence that you have the energy needed to get through the day or try eat some filling but low nutritional food to fill your belly like carrots mmmmmmmm love carrots.

Just have fun with your life, being skinny means nothing, it wont win you any real friends, it wont win you the love of your life, it wont make you popular for sure, just be yourself, have fun, and take it easy.

Re: Diet

Sometimes thirst can be mistaken for hunger too. Keep a bottle of water handy, maybe flavoured water to keep it interesting ? Like Fen says though....HAVE FUN ! Go out for slap up meals every now and then or go on a bender. You don't have to eat healthy 24/7, but if you make it part of your normal routine then you're on the right track. :smileyhappy:
