So, do you think drone attacks are good? save soldiers lives?

Apart from the obvious physical differences, how is it ethically any different to sending in a sniper, or a special forces team? Which is far from new.

A special force team has the option to take someone prisoner, a drone can not.

So that would be the major ethical difference, special forces can go in, spare innocent people, take out hostile combatants, and extract a prisoner. It would be illegal for special forces to execute an unarmed man.

I think what you're referring to are death squads. I am not going to comment further about death squads.

if they can't hit the right target with a pilot in the damn plane I wouldn't fancy letting them loose on a remote controlled one :smileyvery-happy:

honestly some people play a few war games and think they're combat specialists :smileyvery-happy:

Re: Drone attacks.

I'd like to know how they train Bees (the drone) to take out  the target, the wonders of modern technology never fail to astound me. Do they paint the target with honey or something?
