You said Sony would have to bring Sony Ericsson under it's own name instead of ditching the group, well... they are using Exmor technology which is used in their Alpha range and Bravia screen tech in the display. The Experia S will be lauched soon.

Do or die moment for sony, They should have done this at the start like I was saying.

Is it going to be enough? profit margins are falling in the mobile phone section, What they need to do right now, right this moment is get an xperia tablet prepped.

10 inch and 7.7 inch, no fancy dual screens, 2 high end tablets with pen input and massive long lasting battery.

Tablets are the growing market, the highest profit market, and if they get the xperia brand into it now and as win8 launches they can feed that back into their xperia phone lineup.

For like a year and a half or two years when I joined i would only reply once to any thread and never go back to it

So if you replied to me I never seen it. My logic was I read the topic, gave them the correct reply and no longer needed to read the thread. Finally someone told me that half the fun of places like this, is not just informing people of the right, but also the conversation. So I invented an imperfect persona, and this is what you interact with.

This persona sometimes doesn't know stuff and has to ask questions sometimes but has more enjoyable conversations.
