OK I've taken a video and it's turned out upside down as I want to upload to YouTube, any idea how I can turn it the right way?

As far as I know Youtube will see it the right way around regardless of what moviemaker seen as long as it plays the right way on your phone.
You might be better using the built in editor on the phone and then uploading straight from the phone, then if youtube sees it upside down just flip it on youtube editor

Yeah, Its better to support more video codecs if you can. Thats why I say the ps3 is an awful media hub, it simply does not recognise enough formats unlike a home cinema pc.
I know some people prefer the ps3, some even claim its better than a cinema pc lol
I cant say I have ever had the big video editing software ever not recognise a format I use though, and think they are far better than windows movie maker.
