Flip a video?

OK I've taken a video and it's turned out upside down as I want to upload to YouTube, any idea how I can turn it the right way?

Naaa, just my Samsung Galaxy S3 that I used, held it on it's side, and it came out upside down when I uploaded it >< I used Windows Movie Maker though, and flipped it back the right way.

Just uploading to YouTube now.

Re: Flip a video?

As far as I know Youtube will see it the right way around regardless of what moviemaker seen as long as it plays the right way on your phone.

You might be better using the built in editor on the phone and then uploading straight from the phone, then if youtube sees it upside down just flip it on youtube editor

Don't knock it, thanks to it's extensive codec library it can recognise more video formats than Adobe Premier, Sony Vegas and Avid Pinnacle. Granted the features are a bit bare but atleast it knows what a video file is :smileyvery-happy:

Re: Flip a video?

Yeah, Its better to support more video codecs if you can. Thats why I say the ps3 is an awful media hub, it simply does not recognise enough formats unlike a home cinema pc.

I know some people prefer the ps3, some even claim its better than a cinema pc lol

I cant say I have ever had the big video editing software ever not recognise a format I use though, and think they are far better than windows movie maker.
