It's usually where digital camcorders use one container but a different other thing (not sure what the other thing is called), like an AVI container using MP4. Although there are obviously ways to get the big software editors to read and edit those videos if you read the manuals but that wouldn't have helped my post *wishes he had troll pic* :smileysad:

 

PS. Agree about PS3 and cinema PC, I used to prefer the PS3 because it was quicker loading etc but now with HDMI cards in PCs I just use the PC for that sort of thing bar Blue-Ray movies, I still use PS3 for BD-ROM because of boot up speed but HDMI-PCs are just unbeatable at the moment, I rate them much higher than dedicated home media centers because of how quick you go from video files to music or to computer games, not faffing around with remote controls for the TV inputs lol
