Anyone can get a virus and you don't have to be complete idiot to get it. You can just be browsing through google search and open up a shopping page and boom! your hit with great big virus. Or most could be looking for free added security and get a virus by downloading it. 

My Hotmail account was plagued by viruses; but it was a good job my computer picked it up before it destroyed my PC; I wasn't being an idiot by checking my emails and this proves no servers are perfectly secured all the time. You could be the safest dude around and still get a virus.

As for this thread I have no clue about it; but I do know that my DNS settings are routed through to Norton DNS Server and Virgin Media Server and the numbers remain the same.

http://www.dns-ok.us/ use to to ensure your safe, it will quickly pick out an DNS problem as soon as you open the site, no downloads or anything needed Green = Your safe Red= You have an issue.

The point of this thread is to make people aware of a maleware, when the FBI shuts down the servers your connected to via a bad DNS, you'll be kick from the Internet and you wont be able to find out why. And so people wont know what to do with them self, they'll phone ISP's and they wont find issues unless it's also infected your router.

No matter how safe you may think your PC is, there is always ways around it, Apple Mac is actually not virus free as hackers have managed to developed maleware's for it, it's just not as common. I mean look at massive company's and how they can be attacked by Botnet's and that, and they pay for top of the line securely that no normal home user could even buy them selfs. And let's not forget that Anti virus program's can't pick up everything.

Windows Malicious Software Removal Tool has been around for over 7 years. It isn't amazing but it gives at least a basic level of security.

Thats sort of the problem, it is not even as good as there Security Essentials scanner.
