Sony are stabbing their loyal family customers in the back - We have 3 PS3s and 3 PSPs all on the same IP address and all registered with Sony. Why can't we use them at the same time anymore?

I had the 48k (rubber keys) & later the 128k+2 (made by amstrad).

On the 128k,the sound actually came through the telly !!!!!

I can remember the day  i loaded GLIDER RIDER 128k for the 1st time - The david whittacker music blew me away.

Sadly,i sold my speccys to buy a c64 (around 1988) - Then a year later i got an AMIGA A500.

I loved both the SPECTRUM & C64 in the 8bit days - I couldnt choose between them.

Re: Google - ZX Spectrum.

I had the rubber key one then got a hard key one sometime after.

Just wondering, did they ever sell them in America and if so did they do OK there too?

I dont hink so - Not under the ZX Spectrum name anyway.

However,it was huge in russia - Under various clones...Some with enhancements.

Not sure if they were legal or not though.

Re: Google - ZX Spectrum.

Nice one Google even a little St George reference.

Loved my rubber keys spectrum untill my big sister poured coke in it. Cow!!

I remember a few years later when my grandad brought me a brand-new one with the tape player attached. (cant remember the model) That was amazing for me back then..

Re: Google - ZX Spectrum.

That was the 128k +2... LOL - 128k. That couldn't even hold a 210x210 24-bit texture.

But then it would probably take about a week to render a textured scene anyway...

Re: Google - ZX Spectrum.

For those interested,Spectaculator (emulator) has 75% for today only.

Details of how to get this deal here - http://www.worldofspectrum.org/forums/showthread.php?t=38976

This forum is also a nice place for old spectrum users.

I use this emulator & its exellent - It has brilliant TV effects to make the games look like they are being played on an old 80s TV though the RF arial. Its a very neat effect.

There are also exellent free emulators available - Such as SPIN.But i prefer spectaculator.
