our kid is asthmatic too just recently diagnosed but others in my family are too so I didn't put it down to her being born at 29 weeks. We were warned at the time of complications but we were lucky not to have been bothered by any.

our girl was released from SCBU after three weeks too so we really were blessed

my wife kept alot of the tiny baby clothes and the baby was lost in them

It's possible, but it doesn't mean you will. I never grew out of it. I've had it since a baby and I still have it. It's got worse with age tbh.
