yeah they are claiming he was in another gang or something, but then made fun of him being fresh off the boat, and not knowing english..

So it dosent make much sense.

I can tell you with certainty the guy is harmless, he didnt even throw a punch, A gang member would have fought them back how ever fruitless it would be.

Yea thats true any gang memeber on there own would of hit back regardless, especially when being filmed otherwise it would make him look bad infront of his gang members. I think these people seem to be trying to make excuses for doing what they did.

That main guy is being charged as an adult. His picture and name has been released. The others haven't since they are being charged as juveniles.

Nah, UK and Ireland both abolished the Felony charge. (im pretty sure we have, ill check wiki when its back up)

Take for instance a stolen car joy riding, the police in uk always try catch the person driving because he is the one who commited the crime. You see it all the time in UK cop shows, the driver gets away and they let the passanger go.

In America, Stealing a car is a felony, so by being in the car you can be charged with stealing it, driver or not.

Im not in UK by the way, and the guys who were all caught did get away with murder down the road from me in Ireland. Im pretty sure UK is similar maybe not with murder, but definatley with stolen cars and GBH. I have never heard of someone in the UK getting GBH charge when they never hit someone. Maybe breech of the peace, but thats not what Im talking about.

Also, the law is dynamic, and they can be harsh or not depending on their mood or the evidence.
