Please remember these are family forums for people of all ages and backgrounds!

I don't think we need to debate the issue again, it should be pretty obvious what is okay and what is not. Also if you've been issued warnings before and then swear or attack other users etc on the forums you only have yourselves to blame for any action that may be taken.

I'd much rather have fun with you guys as would I guess the other mods on here but if I or any other mod have to taken action due to a report or something obvious we spot then we cannot treat somebody different due to personal preferences i.e. I may like you but I have a job to do, same goes for every other mod.

Sorry to be a killjoy guys but I heard about some of the stuff today and although I've sent out a couple of PMs I figure this is easier now to get the message across

I think if one person is penalised for something all members who have done the same should be warned/banned too. It's all well and good having a laugh but when 99% of stuff goes unpunished and is allowed you can't really punish the 1% for doing the exact same thing, just because one person reported it, especially when that one person is making a point of reporting simply because they don't happen to like that one particular poster.

We all saw Pokefan's thread which had no language, no bypassing of the swear filter or anything else untoward was removed yet his others which did have those things in remained untouched. If that thread was reported despite there being nothing at all rule-breaking or offensive in it then it should have stayed.

The report button is being abused by someone.

I don't get the family forum bit either tbh, why have game sections like Heavy Rain and stuff thay have age ratings, same with GTA....and the film night films aren't family films by any stretch of the imagination.

This forum is visited by people of all ages and backgrounds. Just because some gamess are meant for adults doesn't mean that a younger person cannot come on here and use GD.

I can't believe anyone really thinks some of the stuff which has been taken down today is okay for a Sony PlayStation branded and owned forum.

Also just because a game is age rated does not mean that younger people are not allowed to play it, that final choice comes down to the parents and/or guardians. Despite the age rating of any game you will notice that all sections of the forums even those for said games are suitable for anyone of any age.

Also age should not be a factor with regards to content on the forums. Many people of adult age may wish not find such stuff on this or any other forum.

It should be noted that their are endless forums for such stuff, many of which do not have rules or bannings etc. Those forums are much more suitable for such content.

As for my film night - you agree to that your meeting certain age requirements when using places such as LoveFilm or NetFlix etc, I merely provide the discussion board for film A, film B etc. The films are not aired with the forums themselves also.

Also as with games it is not illegal for someone underage to watch an adult film at night, it comes down to the parent and/or guardian.
