Ignore option on peoples profiles?

Does this stop you from seeing any post made by that user or is it just to stop them sending you pms?

I dunno, but whats the point of being able to set your online status to private if your public profile says "he last visited a second ago" so people will know youre online anyway.

 

I may pm muster buster about that actually.
