Not through my village but the bigger town next to my village. 

 

Although one of my friends is carrying the torch the lucky bar steward.

The route is somewhat close to me yes,  all I have left to prepare for it now is

 

- apply for an Olympic permit to park outside my house

- avoid my local DLR/Tube stations as we've been issued warnings not to use them

- avoid the local road as they have been designated part of the Olympic route network and as such have restrictions on them

- Try to hoard as much food as possible in preparation for not being able to leave the house except under guard so basically we have to live like a hermit for the period.
