Let me explain first. Today in work someone came in and asked a question out of the blue.

I got the feeling there was something wrong with this person but she asked me, "Which is the correct way to eat a Jelly baby? Head or Legs first?"

I had never thought about it before but I want to know what the general consensus is on this matter.

Usually i let them decide for me by making them battle to the death, the winner lives on, the dead get eaten whatever way they are found.

Heads then legs. Then leave it to rest.

I bite one in half lengthways, keeping the head and legs of the right half intact. Then I do the same with the opposite half of another jelly baby of a different colour. I then attach the two colours together and put it to one side. I repeat the process until I get a small community of jelly babies, all living together with their different inter-racial colours.

Then I weep and ask why the real world can't be the same.

I don't think they like being tortured, so I let them go to their fate in groups, in one sweep.

I eat them in half long ways, so I eat the feat and face at the same time.

When a blue moon passes I decide to eat rubber I generally don't bite them in half as I've discovered saliva + jelly baby = sticky hand, so just eat them in one.

Plus why would you bit something so small in half, what is the point?

I pick out there belly with a pin first until they cannot be recognised as a jelly baby anymore, then I chew then slowly to give them as much pain as possible
