Hey. I'm looking for a little help so I'm asking those that have probably shot me to pieces, scored past my goalie, smashed me in a hockey fight or even shot my donkey online. Yes that probably does include you!

A friend of a friend (stick with it)) who is 75 will be running the 135 mile long marathon in ridiculous heat across Death Valley in July for Cerebral Palsy Care. On top of the money he is already raising he has been guaranteed an extra £2,000 should his facebook page attract more than 1000 fans by Monday.

If you're on Facebook then please take a min just to find his page "Help DEATH VALLEY JACK get more fans than Usain Bolt!!!" and "like" it to help him get across the mark.

This July, Jack Denness, Kent’s answer to Forrest Gump will be running the 135 mile Death Valley ultra marathon across the Nevada Desert. Not that impressive? “People do that all the time” I hear you cry! Not when they’re 75 years old and breaking their own world record all in the name of their local charity they don’t!

Death Valley Jack as he has become known after completing the race no less than 14 times, is finally hanging up his trainers after one last attempt at the world’s toughest marathon.

So what’s this got to do with Usain Bolt, the fastest man alive? Well Usain may be fast but we’d like to see him running the equivalent of London to Birmingham in 45 degree heat when he’s 75!! So while Usain has 1.8 million fans on Facebook, we think Death Valley Jack actually deserves your support more and the more fans he gets the more money his sponsor.
