I remember a few years ago, I think it was the Power Mac G5, the top spec came to around £30,000 :smileysurprised:

 

I'm happy with my £2000 MBP :smileytongue:, I have an old Dell desktop but I rarely use it anymore.

There was a guy on this forum (I know the name but can't spell it, he has a Gears of War avatar) who spent £6500 on an Alienware PC :smileyindifferent: That's not including a monitor or anything.

Hodgy had a similar specced PC which I believe he built for less than £1000.
