So they should be allowed in Sainsbury's, but not the church because the church preaches that they are sinners? What if Sainsbury's started preaching that gay people are sinners too? I realise that is unlikely to happen, but I think the analogy is sound.
Let's be fair, it is more like Sainsbury's tolerating gay people, letting them shop there, but they are banned from getting a club card, and they also can't buy from the Taste the Difference range.
They stopped awarding Nectar points to anarchists too, the swines.

I'm part of the society into which people like you inject as much venom and bitterness as they can.
So can i blame you for all of societies illness and corruptions?
If you find that helpful, yes. Just let me know when I need to start caring in case I forget.

With regard to that in terms of Pride parades etc... I agree in a sense.
Perhaps i'm missing something, or generally being ignorant, but I don't really see what a Pride parade achieves. Sexual orientation seems not to be much of an issue in the UK any more. Of course there are still people who are homophobes etc... but they are not normally people who can be reasoned with and have deep-set values.
As those people age and die, and new generations come with sexual orientation a much smaller issue, the problem will largely deal with itself. Indeed, if anything, Pride parades are more likely to strengthen the views of homophobes, seeing gay people as different rather than as normal members of society.
Of course, people are free to join together and march for whatever they want. I have no problem with Pride parades, I just question the effectiveness of them. Of course, maybe I missing the point, perhaps it is just a good way to have fun and perhaps find potential boyfriends/girlfriends?
Exactly my point, Gawge.
The only people who care about someone's sexuality either A. Thinks they deserve better treatment because of it or B. Thinks the opposite.
Both need to shut the hell up and get over themselves tbh. Both have issues that they need to deal with, not ram down the throats of decent minded people who couldn't give a toss. ![]()

Pooping is passing gas, pooing is passing solids. We're not American. Don't bring that rubbish in here.

Being gay is not as easy as you suggest, people commit suicide over it all the time its that hard to deal with. Even when you're an adult in an environment where everyone loves you and accepts you, you can still be attacked coming out of a club or seen kissing another guy.
Gay pride parade is basically letting people know they are not alone, it gives them a chance to go to something like this and be brave but also enjoy safety of a crowd and reasonable anonymity.
I dont see anything wrong with it, they dont hurt anyone, they generate revenue for the areas, they dont hate anyone, and all it does is help people.
Sure the day may come when it does not make sense, but even then it will have a historical signifigance so should still be allowed.

People commit suicide over all sorts of things all the time, we don't have an "I've been cheated on" parade though or an "I've lost my job/money" parade.
I don't mind having a parade though, it's the "Hi, I'm Joan and I'm a lesbian/bisexual" bit that gets me. Especially when there's no bloody need for me being told.
And why does someone who goes on about gay sufferage like Elfen does use the word gay in a derogatory way towards others like soton and logic? Ridiculous behaviour.
