You can get them back!

Go to 'My Profile' at the top of the page. From there, follow this menu tree:

'Preferences' tab>Scroll down to 'Display Settings'>Under 'Emoticon Type' choose: profile.emoticon_type.playstationeu.title> Save your settings.
