Love the Scirocco, lovely looking cars!

I agree - since they were introduced, for me they've always been VW's best looking offering. :smileyhappy:

Now I know a load of people are just going to be like "Wth, the MK6 looks so much better, the MK1 is a PoS"
Personally, I think they're both gorgeous cars, but the MK1 is iconic, it just looks right to me, if that makes sense.

I think the MK6 there looks FAF, but thats probably because I wasn't around for any of the originals or never noticed.

Though the classic Mini Cooper will always win over the new ones imo.

It's lovely, also, it looks so great in the Viper Green colour. Saw one the other day and it's a real head turner and I agree this is definitely VW's best car on the  market at the moment.

You does like ya cars Ellie eh ? :smileyhappy:

I'm due to test drive an XFR and an XKR at the end of next week, finally after months of waiting - already tried out the Continental GT, and then waiting for a test drive of the V8 Vantage after the Jag's......then it's decision time !

I've sat in the XFR a couple of times and it is soooo much comfier than it's German counterparts (M5, RS6 and E63). Lookin' forward to it ! :smileywink:

Yeah I love my cars, almost obsessed with them!

Wowsers, they are some seriously rapid cars that you are gonna test drive, bet you are looking forward to that! I'd give anything to drive the V8 Vantage! :smileysurprised:

The Vantage has the advantage in the looks department, and of course it's a British marque, though I have the feeling that the XKR will trump it in every other aspect. On paper the XKR's quicker, and the general consensus is that it's a much better ride. Only time will tell !

I'd love to hang on for next years XKR-S, though I doubt any will be available and the price might be a killer !  :smileysad:

Seen any of the new Panamera's on the road FORCE?

I don't think they actually look too bad.

Oh no, trust me I think that as well.
And I wasn't around for them either, although MK2s were still produced in 92 and 93 I think? So I was around for those.
I just really like VW and especially Golfs, since I was a kid I have, absolutely loved them.

When I was about 4 my Dad had a VW Vento VR6 which was quick as s**t, and was a really nice car too and possibly, I think thats the first car I really truly 'enjoyed', even though I never drove it.

Used to be mad about cars as a kid though, used to have every issue of Top Gear magazine from about 4 years at least. Used to watch Top Gear all the time, spent loads of time in my uncles workshop too with his cars and bikes and projects etc.
