Just bought and started using it today. Oh god ,would I ever get used to it? I am really missing my old controller, unfortunately its left analog string was worn out so I had to get new one.

The question is... the more I play with my new controller would get its ***** analogs go softer in time? Having a really time in BF3 with aiming and sprinting (L3) it's not possible to press L3 if I push analog all the way foward so it has to be at the centre for me to press the L3. Hope I get any assists from those who also experienced the same thing and give me good news and tips Cheers.

Yer after a while it will loosen up, mine was the same.

make sure it isn't a fake. I had that problem and it was a fake. is it a coloured controller?

Checked it carefully, doesn't look fake to me. No colour just default black. For new controllers, they shouldn't be this *****? May have to call them up and hope for another replacement.

cold shower, should reduce that stiffness.

It really is. I ended up singing the theme song. I'd suggest using honey too. Stating the obvious but it's a great lubricant and evolutionairy aid for everything. 

How are they stiff exactly? In all directions? Perhaps constant use or a bit of abuse will losen it up?

my fake controller was pretty convincing too. does it have problems connecting and holding its charge?
