I agree, there should also be a fructose tax, and corn syrp tax, none on glucose but the ammount of glucose should be clearly shown.
Hopefully the tax goes to curing fat people of the fat problems they have.

So the they make sure we get all these chemicals in our food which make us un-healthy, and fat etc, then they now want to tax you for it... awesome, and if people allow it to happen, then they deserve to be taxed.
They already got you paying water "rates" LOL, and they got away with that one, so when they come to putting a tax on "carbon" Co2 emissions, you'll all jump onto that bandwagon and pay up because you'll all be led to believe its "saving the planet".

Hell what does David Cameron know; he was spoon fed since the age of 1, getting everything on a silver platter; whilst his parents probably struggled with debt and rising food bills. He thinks everyone lives in a well off society, where we are willing to through away all our hard earned cash on his future yacht. So it's about time people told him how it really is. ![]()

This.
I remember walking into Tescos and looking to buy something healthy then realising i could get more for my money and a fuller stomach if bought something unhealthy.
I wonder when the goverment will realise that proper education is better than raising prices.
