Oh yea, spring time!!!

[ Edited ]

I meant to post this earlier today.

It's now spring time.

This afternoon I heard the first lawn mower of the year buzzing around cutting grass out the back of my house.

I use this every year to judge when spring starts and it's never wrong, we will never have another frost around here until next winter now, which makes me feel good.

I seem to remember towards last summer when I hadn't been a member of these forums for long there were a few people saying they were fed up of the summer and were looking forward to the winter months.

I think Shanethegoon was one such person.

Now, I found it depressing that the long cold winter was on its way and people were actually happy about it as I hate the cold wet freezing weather winter can bring.

Anyway, I'm laughing now as it's spring (according to my lawn mower law) and the winter was the mildest I've ever known, only one day of snow fall!?!?!

Soon I will be walking around in shorts enjoying the sunshine and smiling.

Sucks to be you winter lovers:Lol:

Re: Oh yea, spring time!!!

All seasons have something nice about them but I do like the unexpected warm day in spring that makes to think "ooh summer soon bbqs and drinking in the garden"

Until June comes then I have to spend a fortune on hayfever tablets :smileysad: I didn't get it until I was about 17 and it got much worse after living in a city.
