Re: PC Gaming

If I get the H100 that wouldn't cool the GPU. How would I keep the GPU cool, would it help if I just went for a CPU aircooler that may help the overall airflow?

Re: PC Gaming

Am sure I remember seeing your case it was corsair carbine 500r? if so that has a 200mm side fan thats for gpu cooling as well has overall system cooling, you have two front in-take also so your case should be very cool. you could install a top fan to keep air flowing.

Picked them up for $5.81 (at the time beating the avg) trying to figure out what works on and android more as they all obviously work fine on PC.

As this guy says, the 200mm are the "Big Boy" class aren't they? They shift around 6m2/s I believe, that should be the exhaust fan. The two in the front should be input fans. Is there another 120mm exhaust fan on the back of the case, because if so that would creat negative air pressure meaning air is pulled through the case giving a decent enough air flow regardless of obstacles...but Corsair's are built with airflow in mind from the offset meaning not many obsctacle to worry about anyway.

Your cards should be fine enough provided you don't OC them.

Yup mines the 500r.  There is a 200mm fan on the side (I thought that was an intake fan, I just checked and it was)  The 120mm back of the fan is an exhaust one.

I wouldn't consider OC the GPU until few years down the line so its all good.  May replace the case fans to get something that works better.

The 200mm is set as an intake? Coolio, I thought the idea was to create negative air pressure but get as many opinions as possible on it. :smileyhappy:

I would really like to get the ATI considering it is a single GPU then because my experience with Crossfire has been poor if I am to be honest, I find even updating the drivers to be a frustrating affair. I always get an annoying pop-up box asking if I want to reboot half way through the installation (directly after the display adaptor part is installed) and it has happened ever since 9.4 or 9.5 was released. But the last one, 11.12, took the biscuit... The popup appeared and then my screen went black, I didn't know where my cursor was on the screen so randomly clicking 'No' didn't turn out successful lol... I had to press reset on the case and then blue screened :smileyvery-happy:
Wait a while longer.. Nvida's new GPUs are roumerd to be beasty.. the "cheap" one Price range of around £250-300 on par with a 580 then their high end £400+ around 50% more powerful than a 580 from what i've heard. At least what I saw a few months back.. Now it seems t he best one to go for is the GK104 (560 replacement) or the GK110 (2 GK104s on a board)
